It’s a wise idea to seek out professional counsel as organizational leaders begin thinking about a major fundraising initiative. However, for the majority of smallish ministries, the campaign services provided by full-service consulting firms are more than the organization needs (or can afford). I tailor my counsel to the level of fundraising expertise and campaign readiness of staff and key volunteers. And my fee for service is keyed to the funding realities of the faith-based organizations with which I work. With more than 25 year’s experience behind me, there’s not much I haven’t seen when it comes to campaigning. But don’t worry that I dish out the same old advice in every setting. Although I’ve been known to bake cookies for steering committee meetings, there’s nothing "cookie cutter" about the counsel I give to clients.
